Karen Sollazzo, Web Design|Portfolio

While the newest features of the latest browser releases are attractive, by their nature they leave the users of older browsers behind. Most sites don't have the luxury of being able to ignore those users. Therefore a designer who intends to use the latest technology to present their content must be able to design pages which also degrade gracefully to keep their work accessible to as wide an audience as possible.

Karen is fully aware of the accessibility problems inherent in taking advantage of the most recently supported technologies and the solutions to these problems. This site, for instance, uses a mixture of javascript, cascading style sheets and HTML markup to create pages that while enhanced for version 4+ browsers, is still accessible to older browsers.
